Terms of Use
-
The CODE implementing NYLUG-Jobs is currently in ALPHA Testing.
Therefore, this document is a work in progress and there is no guarantee that data
will not be lost!
- The NYLUG-Jobs job site (the job site) is moderated. All submissions are
first reviewed then published (i.e. made public) to the NYLUG-Jobs site, and
posted to the nylug-talk mailing list,
and to the nylug-jobs mailing list.
From there, it is known to go out to other mailing lists.
-
Jobs not pertaining to Linux, Free Software, Open Source, or related will not be
accepted for publishing. It is up to the discretion of the moderators as to what
related means at any given moment. At the time of writing, non-related generally
means if you're looking to hire someone to help you run closed source software on a
non-GPL/non-BSD licensed operating system, you've come to the wrong place.
-
Due to the review process, it may take a day or so before submissions are made
public. Submissions may be expired and removed from the job site after some
time. Expiration currently goes unimplemented.
- Submissions will not be published if they contain obsencities, obviously
false information, excessive HTML markup, javascript, etc... Intrusive client
side scripting will not be tolerated. Please specify only text values for
the Submission form. *Asterisks denote required fields.
- Currently submitters are not notified when their submission is published.
Please use the Search to find your submission. All published submissions are
available via the search.
- The Preview functionality is provided to the submitter to maximize the
chance that (a) their submission is published (b) their job post will
have the best possible look and feel. Please use the Preview functionality.
